Tucson pest control, inside and out

Pest control in Tucson

We inspect and treat Tucson homes and businesses for ants, roaches, spiders, scorpions, termites, rodents and the other household pests that come with living in the desert, inside the house and around the outside of it.

A standard visit is a full inspection, treatment inside and outside, and prevention advice before we leave. We treat what the inspection finds, not what a sales sheet says, so a single ant problem gets a different visit from scorpions living in the block wall.

Every pest we treat

Our pest control services

We treat the everyday household pests in a standard visit, and we run dedicated services for termites, scorpions, bed bugs, mice, rats, mosquitoes, bees and pest birds, plus commercial pest control on a schedule. Here is each service, a card for each.

  • Line of ants running along a sliding door track

    Ants, roaches, spiders and crickets

Ants get treated at the colony, not just the trail you see on the counter. Roaches get a "crack-and-crevice treatment", product placed into the gaps where they hide rather than sprayed across the room. Spiders and crickets get an exterior barrier, and we seal the gaps they come through.

  • termite mud tubes on a foundation

    Termite control

We inspect for subterranean and drywood termites, then treat the colony with a liquid barrier, bait stations or a spot treatment, whichever the inspection calls for.

    Termite Control
  • House covered by a striped fumigation tent

    Tent fumigation for drywood termites

When drywood termites have spread through the structure, tent fumigation treats the whole house at once under a sealed tent.

    Fumigators
  • bark scorpion under a blacklight

    Scorpion control

We layer liquid, granular and dust products where scorpions hide and seal the gaps they use to get inside.

    Scorpion Pest Control
  • Gloved hand lifting a mattress seam under a flashlight

    Bed bug treatment

We confirm it is bed bugs first, then clear them with a heat treatment that usually takes one visit or a chemical protocol across two or three visits.

    Bed Bug Exterminator
  • Copper mesh packed into a pipe gap in a stucco wall

    Mice control

We seal the gaps mice use with metal and mortar, then trap the runways along the walls until the catches stop.

    Mice Exterminator
  • Roof rat at the open end of a tile roof eave

    Roof rats and rat control

Roof rats come in along the roofline, so we seal it, cut the overhead route they use and trap the runways.

    Rat Exterminator
  • Mosquito larvae in a plant saucer of standing water

    Mosquito control

We find where mosquitoes breed and rest, remove or treat the standing water and follow up until the yard is under control.

    Mosquito Control
  • Honey bee swarm hanging from a patio beam

    Bee removal

We locate the hive, remove the bees and the comb, and treat the spot so a new swarm does not move into the same cavity.

    Bee Removal
  • Pigeons roosting on a stucco parapet ledge

    Bird control for pigeons

We clear pigeons and other pest birds, clean the roost and fit netting or spikes so they stay off the building.

    Bird Removal
  • Technician opening a bait station behind a commercial kitchen line

    Commercial pest control

We keep restaurants, offices, apartments, grocery stores, schools, daycares, HOAs and government buildings free of pests on a set schedule, with the same inspect-first approach we use at a house.

From the call to done

How a pest control visit works

A visit starts with a full inspection, then treatment inside and outside chosen from what we found, and it ends with prevention advice to act on.

  1. Call for a free estimate

Tell us what you are seeing and where. We answer the phone or call back the same working day, and we quote the whole job before we start.

  2. Full inspection

We walk the inside and the outside looking for entry points and activity, because what we find is what shapes the plan.

  3. Treatment inside and out

The treatment is chosen from the inspection: exclusion, cutting back the "harborage" where pests shelter, traps and targeted product, not a blanket spray.

  4. Prevention advice

Before we leave you know what let the pests in and what to change so they do not come back, and we clean up after the work.

One problem, or year-round

One-time treatment and recurring pest control plans

A one-time treatment clears the problem you have now, while a recurring plan clears it and then keeps a barrier around the home. Most of the difference is in what happens after the first visit.

  • One-time treatment

    Clear the problem you have

One visit, priced on its own, for a pest that showed up and needs to go.

    • Full inspection, then treatment inside and outside
    • Treatment chosen from what the inspection found
    • Prevention advice so it does not come straight back
  • Recurring plan

Clear it, then keep it out

Ongoing service clears the current pests, then holds a barrier around the home with exclusion and perimeter sprays.

    • Visits commonly every three months once things are quiet
    • Monthly while a problem is active, dropping to every other month once it is under control
    • What sets the price of a plan is laid out on its own page

What sets the priceThe size of the home and lot, the pest, how far it has spread, and whether you want one treatment or a plan. Bed bugs, rodents, birds and termites need an inspection before we can price the job. Every estimate is free with no obligation, and we quote the whole job before we start, with no surprise charges after.

How we work

Why the inspection comes first

Integrated pest management and exclusion

"Integrated pest management", also called green pest control, combines exclusion, physical barriers and sanitation and treats pesticides as one tool among several. Exclusion is the sealing: weather stripping, expansion cloth, caulk, screening and netting, with dust and steel wool barriers where pests come through, so the root cause gets closed instead of sprayed over. The National Pest Management Association describes the approach the same way.

Residential and commercial pest control in Tucson

We treat houses, apartments and rentals across Tucson, and we keep restaurants, offices, grocery stores, schools, daycares, HOA common areas and government buildings on a schedule.

Products applied by the label

Every product we use around a home is EPA-registered, and we apply and reapply it by its label directions, which set where it goes, how much and how often. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency publishes the consumer guidance behind that label-first rule.

How fast treatment works

It depends on the pest, how severe the infestation is and the products used, but results can show within 24 to 48 hours of treatment. Bait that goes back to a colony keeps working after we leave, which is why we treat the colony and not the trail.

Great customer service. Arrived on time, answered questions I had.
Holly McNeill Google review
Sean was helpful and explained in detail the type of termites we’re dealing with and how to best treat them. He explained where we had/didn’t have damage, what to look for in the future and why they were missed by the previous home owners. Highly recommend Sean and this company!

Worth a call?

When to call a pest control company

A few visible pests, droppings or damage are reason enough to call, because what you see is usually a small part of what is there. Seeing even one or two rodents is reason to call a professional.

The earlier we look, the smaller the job. Termite signs that get ignored cost more to treat later, and store-bought sprays tend to scatter a problem across the house instead of ending it. A free estimate costs you a phone call, and we tell you straight if what you have is nothing to worry about.

Do a few pests mean more are hiding?

Usually, yes: a few visible pests means more are hiding out of sight, in wall voids, under appliances or in the block wall outside, and the inspection is how we find out how many.

Do store-bought sprays solve a pest problem?

Rarely, because over-the-counter sprays tend to drive pests into new hiding places, which makes them harder to eliminate when the job does get treated properly.

How do you know if you have termites?

Mud tubes, swarmers and hollow-sounding wood are the usual signs. "Mud tubes" are the pencil-width dirt tunnels subterranean termites build up a foundation, and "swarmers" are the winged termites people mistake for flying ants.

Signs of Termites

How do you spot a bark scorpion?

A bark scorpion is small, light tan and climbs walls, and it glows under a blacklight at night, which is how we find them on an evening inspection.
