What pest control costs
Pest control in Tucson typically runs $100 to $300 for a one-time treatment and $50 to $100 a month for ongoing service, and where your home lands depends on the pest, the size of the home and lot and how far the infestation has spread.
Those are ranges for the area, not our quote. We price your home once we know what you are dealing with, and the estimate is free with no obligation.
When we quote, the quote covers the whole job before we start, so nothing gets added after the work is done.

The pest, the home and the lot
The price depends on the type of pest, how severe the infestation is, the size of the home and the size of the lot.
The factors that move a pest control price:
Type of pest
Each pest takes its own method and product, so the type of pest you have is the first thing that shapes the price.
Severity
A few roaches by the sink is a smaller job than an infestation that has spread through the walls, and the severity shows up in the price.
Home size
A bigger home has more rooms, walls and entry points to treat, so the home size sets how much treatment the job needs.
Lot size
The yard counts too: a larger lot size means more perimeter, gravel beds and block wall to treat outside the house.
Some jobs need a look first
Pests priced only after an inspection
Bed bugs, rodents, birds and termites need an inspection before the job is priced.
With these pests the price rests on what we find on site: where they are, how far they have spread and what it will take to get them out. We come and look, then quote the whole job before we start.
If you want to read up before we come out, the National Pest Management Association keeps homeowner resources on termites, rodents and other household pests.

The pests we look at before we put a price on the job:
- Bed bugsWe confirm them and see which rooms they have reached.
- RodentsWe find how mice and rats get in and the "runways" they travel.
- BirdsWe see where they roost and nest on the building.
- TermitesWe find which termite it is, where it is active and what it has damaged.
Two ways to pay
One-time treatment and recurring plan pricing
A one-time treatment and a recurring plan are priced differently: one pays for a visit aimed at the problem in front of you, the other spreads the cost across scheduled visits.
You can choose either of these, and we will price both on the call:
One problem
One-time treatment
Typically $100 to $300 in Tucson.
- A single visit aimed at the pest you have now
- Priced on the pest, the home and how far it has spread
- Free estimate and the whole job quoted before we start
Spreads the cost
Recurring plan
Ongoing service typically runs $50 to $100 a month in Tucson.
- The cost spread across scheduled visits instead of one bill
- Monthly while a problem is active, less often once it is under control
- Clears the pests, then keeps a barrier around the home

Great customer service. Arrived on time, answered questions I had.
Sean was helpful and explained in detail the type of termites we’re dealing with and how to best treat them. He explained where we had/didn’t have damage, what to look for in the future and why they were missed by the previous home owners. Highly recommend Sean and this company!
RKC Pest Management LLC is excellent. Have had them for many years and no pests. Sean is very thorough and conscientious. Would definitely recommend this company without hesitation.
Visits on a schedule
How often service is scheduled
We schedule service monthly, every other month, quarterly, summer only, yearly or on call, and monthly is the usual pace while a problem is active.
Once the problem is under control, service usually drops to every other month, and recurring plans commonly treat the home every three months. Tell us what you are seeing and we will suggest the schedule that fits it.
The schedules we set up for homes and businesses:
- MonthlyTypical while a problem is active
- Every other monthOnce the problem is under control
- Every three monthsThe common pace for a recurring plan
- Summer onlyService through the warm months
- YearlyA treatment once a year
- On callWe come out when you call

Sooner is cheaper
Why waiting costs more
Waiting raises the cost, because an infestation keeps spreading and the damage it does adds repair on top of the treatment.
A few pests caught early is a smaller job than the same pests through the walls a season later, and the price follows how far they have spread.
Does waiting on termites cost more?
Yes, the longer termite signs are ignored, the more the treatment costs, and termites that go undetected add structural repair on top.
